Ree Drummond Launches Her First Line of Comfort Food at Walmart

Ree Drummond isn’t quite done building her massive empire of branded goods.

In the midst of running her own hotel, The Boarding House, which opened back in April, Drummond has not only recently launched her very own Barbie doll and kitchen play set and a line of cookware and home decor items (including Instant Pots!), but she will also have a brand-new line of prepared foods — all of which are exclusively available at Walmart.

Starting next week, fans of the Pioneer Woman can pick up one (or all) of her signature comfort food dishes in the refrigerated section of Walmart. The best part? They’re all affordable and cost less than $7.

"I feel solid about them, and I know a lot of people will love the flavors and textures,” Drummond told Delish.

According to the publication, the line is divided into three categories: Drummond’s go-to comfort food staples (like her tried-and-true country fried steak and bacon meatloaf), sides (including your pick of loaded mashed potatoes or four-cheese mac and cheese) and bowls (she’ll have a whopping three breakfast bowls available).

“My No. 1 goal with my new line of entrees and sides is to give folks a taste of my family’s favorite dishes, all ready to heat and serve,” Drummond said in a press release.

One of Drummond’s goals with this prepared foods line, according to Delish, was to cater to busy families. So, the meals come with two servings and can be heated up in the microwave or oven.

"When you have a house full of kids, especially teenagers, the opportunity of staying in the kitchen for hours and making things from scratch — even though I love doing that — that time dwindles," Drummond told the publication.
