You Can Officially Order a Starbucks Tie-Dye Frappuccino ?

Alrighty, folks, the time has come: Starbucks is putting those tie-dye Frappuccino rumors to rest—and adding said Frapp to menus for an extremely limited time. While photos of the pretty multicolored drink have already begun circulating on social media during test runs at various Starbucks stores, July 10 is the first day you can officially order the Tie-Dye Frappuccino at Starbucks locations nationwide. Are you ready for it?!

Here’s everything we know about this summer’s specialty drink:

(1) It’s only in stores for a limited time. This is likely because it takes some time and effort to make and baristas have about a million other things to do (ahem, see tweet below). Per Starbucks’ press release, it’ll be available for just a few days while supplies last, so…hurry up and get to Starbucks if you’re intrigued.

If you order the tie dye Frappuccino when it launches, just know every barista working hates you.

(2) It’s a crème-based Frapp, so there’s no caffeine. The drink is made with your choice of milk, ice, and crème Frappuccino syrup plus vanilla whipped cream and natural food coloring to make the yellow, red, and blue tie-dye swirls. The colors come from turmeric, red beet, and spirulina. On top, there’s another sprinkling of colorful sugar so as to really hammer home the tie-dye vibe.

SNEAK PEAK: NO ITS NOT OUT YET,SO DONT ASK!!!! *PERKS OF BEING A PARTNER* Being able to sample all our drinks before they launch. It tastes like a banana laffy taffy. #Tyedyefrapp #Tobeapartner #Barista #BaristaLife #Frappuccino #Art #Imakeartthroughcoffee #Frappeart #Tyedye #Frap #Starbucks

(3) According to Starbucks, the drink has a tropical fruit flavor. On Twitter, a few people have compared it to banana Laffy Taffy, while one barista compared it to the sugar stick that comes with Fun Dip.

(4) You can order it in Canada too! CC: Justin Bieber, Shay Mitchell, Celine Dion, Drake, etc.

(5) Employees can dress in tie-dye while the Frappuccino is in stores to match the drink, a few baristas have shared on social media. TBH, if you’re not dressed in tie-dye while drinking this Frapp, you’re really missing the boat.

Stay tuned for our ~official~ taste test, and head to any Starbucks to try it for yourself.
