The $14 Face Mask This Riverdale Star Swears By To Battle Cystic Acne

It’s pretty annoying when celebrities get asked about their skin-care routines, only to respond that they “just drink lots of water!” That’s why it’s so refreshing that Lili Reinhart, who plays Betty Cooper on Riverdale, freely opened up about her skin-care routine on her Instagram Stories this week.

Lili shared a bunch of different things, so bear with us here…

The first is a mask called Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay, which she says is “amazing for cystic acne” and “super cheap on Amazon.” (Lili’s not kidding—the best-seller is $14 for a pound on Amazon.) The clay-based mask can help sop up excess oil (although if you have dry skin, you should probably steer clear).

Next up is Renee Rouleau’s Triple Berry Smoothing Peel ($86.50, reneerouleau.com), an exfoliating peel that Lili says should be used “only once a week or less.” She followed that up with another Renee Rouleau product, the Rapid Response Detox Masque ($60.50, reneerouleau.com). “I use this every day when I’m breaking out and three times a week when my skin is clear,” she captioned a pic of the mask.

When she has zits, Lili turns to Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion ($17, ulta.com). She also threw in a few moisturizers like GlamGlow’s Dream Duo treatment ($59, Sephora.com) and Kate Somerville’s Dilo Oil ($65, sephora.com), the latter of which she says she uses when her skin is recovering from a breakout.

Lili’s skin is insanely gorgeous, so clearly this routine is working for her.

She’s not the only celeb offering up beauty tips lately: Kim Kardashian recently revealed that she uses Nexxus Emergencee Treatment on her platinum blonde hair. Kate Middleton’s beautician also shared earlier this year that the Duchess uses a DIY facial of Nutella, sugar, and lip balm.

Sure, drinking more water will help your skin, but sometimes you just need good old-fashioned product recommendations to take you to the next level.
