Everyone goes through puberty at different rates and at different ages, and boys progress through puberty later than girls. This is why girls are often taller than boys in the early teen years. Some boys will not have their growth spurt until the late teen years, which can be hard when everyone else around you seems to be growing faster than you. Also, remember that your total height potential is determined by the height of your parents, so you will probably not grow much taller than your dad. However, you should be gaining some height every year until about age 17, so if you have truly stopped growing and have not reached your adult height yet, you should have your health care provider review your growth chart.
