One of the best things about travelling is hearing all of the beautiful accents from around the world. But, some are considered ‘sexier’ than others (according to some).
A recent study by language learning app, Babbel, revealed the top five sexy and least sexy accents, as voted by Australians.

The study also found that:
- 54% of young Australians (under 25) have dreamt of having a holiday romance with a foreigner while travelling.
- 2/3 of Australian Babbel learners said that they missed out on something while they were travelling because they didn’t speak the local language.
- The majority of them (62%) said that, in particular, they missed out on connecting with the people around them.
- 95% confirmed that locals are more welcoming when spoken to in the local language.
