No one shakes shit up in the beauty or fashion industries like Rihanna. Last night, she revealed her brand-new Savage x Fenty spring 2019 lingerie collection, during which household names like Allure’s September cover girl Bella Hadid and sister Gigi Hadid walked the catwalk. However, it was Slick Woods who stole the show, a fellow model who's been featured by the Fenty Beauty campaign from the very beginning.
Woods, who announced she was pregnant back in July, is now in her third trimester but is still fiercely walking runways, as evidenced by the Savage x Fenty show. She walked in this particular show topless (well, almost — she was wearing pasties) wearing a gorgeous harnessed bodysuit with some major cut-outs from the new line. Woods was absolutely glowing and cradled her growing bump on the runway. How’s that for body positivity?
Woods wasn’t the only pregnant model on the Savage x Fenty runway. Rihanna made sure to include another model who happen to be expecting to show off her brand-new line of lingerie, along with a slew of women of all body shapes and sizes. It’s clear that Rihanna feels that both beauty and lingerie should be inclusive, and we can't help but agree. Everyone deserves to feel sexy no matter what size you are or what trimester you’re in.
According to TMZ, the show was just as exciting for Woods as it was for all of us, as she reportedly went into labor immediately after the show. TMZ says that paramedics were brought backstage to take her to a nearby hospital. Congratulations to Woods, as well as her partner, model Adonis Bosso.
