The more porn a man looks at it, the more its potency suffers. An international team of scientists that has analysed an Online survey to says. The consumption of porn also influenced the attitude to Sex with a Partner: About a third of the participants found it less stimulating than porn.
Pornography is since 2007 increasingly available on the Internet. Researchers from Belgium, Denmark and the UK have found through a detailed Online questionnaire and the responses of 3267 men that porn impact significantly on the sex: 23 percent of men under 35 years of age, who participated in the survey, had Sex with a Partner, signs of a disorder of erectile function. The study leader Professor Gunter de Win of the University of Antwerp said: "This number was higher than we had expected. We found a very strong relationship between the time spent with the Viewing of porn, and increasing difficulties with erectile function during Sex with a Partner."
The men surveyed consumed according to its own figures, an average of about 70 minutes per week of porn, usually for 5 to 15 minutes. There was, however, very large differences: The extreme value amounted to 1575 minutes per week. In the survey, only 65 percent of men’s Sex felt with a Partner as exciting as a Porno. 20 per cent reported to ever more extreme porn to achieve the same level of arousal as before. De Win said: "We believe that the porn related problems with erection are due to these lack of arousal." The study was presented at the virtual Congress of the European Association for urology (EAU).
