Hailey Baldwin’s diet
When it comes to food, Hailey is no stranger to clean eating. The model typically excludes things like dairy and gluten from her meals and sticks to whole versus processed foods. “On a regular day, breakfast is usually eggs or oatmeal, some type of healthy protein, or a smoothie,” Hailey dished to Elle Magazine. “Lunch is usually salad, fish, grilled veggies, or maybe a sandwich. I don’t really eat a lot of gluten so I’m trying to be particular. I love a good kale Caesar salad [but with] no croutons. That’s usually one thing I leave out,” she added. As far as dinner is concerned, Hailey likes to stick to a similar meal plan as lunch. Every once in a while, she’ll indulge in some gluten-free pasta and maybe some dessert. However, the model tries to avoid sugar when possible.
Despite her healthy diet, Hailey doesn’t like to keep herself too restricted — especially when traveling. One of her favorite things to do while visiting other countries? Go to McDonald’s. “I always like trying McDonald’s in other countries,” she told Elle Magazine. “I think my favorite that I’ve tried … I had McDonald’s in Canada and it was so good,” she added.
In addition to travel indulgences, Hailey also grants herself cheat days. “A cheat day for me, the first thing that I crave, I’ll eat,” the model told Elle Magazine. “That’s my rule. So if I wake up and I want pancakes, I’m gonna eat pancakes. If I want a cheeseburger for lunch or for dinner, I’m gonna eat it. If I want fries, I’m gonna eat the fries,” she explained.
BEST YEAR.

Hailey Baldwin’s detox diet
Because of the nature of her job, Hailey has to stay somewhat strict with her food on a regular basis. However, when prepping for a big event — such as, New York Fashion Week — the model doubles down with a detox diet. “Right now, I’m on a metabolic detox,” she told People in 2016. “I’m trying to reset my body before I get into the craziness of all this traveling and running around,” she added. At the time, the model was referring to her upcoming fashion week schedule.
While she didn’t disclose too many details, the star shared some insight into her go-to detox diet. “It’s like a cleanse that you have to do with like protein powder an all this different stuff and you have to eat a certain type of way,” she revealed. “I eat healthy regardless but it’s very much more scaled down,” she added. According to People, her detox lasted for ten days and involved supplements, though she didn’t specify what she was taking.
A metabolic cleanse is a detox diet that, according to Harvard Medical School, works to get rid of toxins linked to bloating, joint pain, fatigue, headaches, and even depression. The idea is that once completed, the metabolism resets and runs more smoothly.
