It’s only been a few days since we could acceptably throw ourselves at everything pumpkin and fall-flavored, and we are loving every single minute of it. And while we are not above getting psyched about all the typical seasonal offerings, there is something about a new type of treat that really gets our spirits up. So if you see in me in the freezer aisle loading up boxes of Eggo Pumpkin Pie Pancakes and Gingerbread Cookie Pancakes…mind your on business, mk?!
Instagrammer @candyhunting tipped us off to both these products’ existences, as they tend to do. First up, these gingerbread pancakes take all the spicy goodness of your favorite Christmas cookie and put them into a frozen pancake form. Seriously, this is some fancy holiday brunch creation that you can just casually have in your freezer. HOW FUN.
Next up, these Pumpkin Pie Pancakes are a totally new limited-edition offering. While we’re used to frozen waffles and pancake mixes taking on the spicy and sweet flavors of pumpkin, this is the first time we’ve seen it in frozen pancake form. As you know, it’s very much fall in our eyes (like, as far as most people are concerned, it’s been fall since August 1), so these have already started being spotted in stores.
We reached out to Eggo to get more info on these seasonal treats and they confirmed that they’re part of their new seasonal offerings. You know what that means: Keep your eyes on the pancake aisle!!
