Lemon, Tahini & Coconut Bliss Balls

These zesty bliss balls are vegan and are sweetened with natural medjool dates.


1 cup pitted medjool dates

1 cup desiccated coconut, plus extra to roll.

1 cup almond meal

1 tablespoon Fermentanicals chia seeds

¼ cup flax meal

¼ cup hulled tahini

¼ cup coconut oil

2 teaspoons of lemon zest


Process the dates in a food processor until they form a paste. Add the coconut, almond meal and flaxseed meal and process until fine crumbs form. Add the chia seeds, tahini, coconut oil and lemon zest and process until well combined. The mixture should stick together when rolled into a ball. If it’s too dry add more coconut oil. If it’s too wet add more desiccated coconut.

Roll the mixture into tablespoon sized balls and then roll in extra desiccated coconut to coat well. Set aside in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set.
