Taco Bell’s New Nacho Fries Just Got the Biggest Upgrade

If you’ve been drooling over Taco Bell’s Nacho Fries since their first roll out back in January, we’ve got some good and bad news for you. Bad news: The next end date is in sight. Good news: It’s not for another month!

Taco Bell announced this morning that Nacho Fries are set to stay in restaurants nationwide through mid-September. During that time, two Ohio cities will also play host to special test items, and they’re insanely over-the-top, even by Taco Bell standards.

First up: the Rattlesnake Fries and Burrito. Both come with nacho cheese sauce, steak, jalapeño sauce, and pickled jalapeños. The fries are served over T.Bell’s seasoned fries, while the burrito is wrapped up in a tortilla. Both will be available for $2.99 for a limited time started August 16 — but you’ll have to be in Columbus, OH to try them.

The second test item is even spicier than the first, using the world’s hottest pepper, the Carolina Reaper, as a main ingredient. The Reaper Ranch Fries and Reaper Ranch Fries Supreme come with fries and reaper ranch sauce, plus beef, tomatoes, and sour cream on the supreme order. Those are available for $1.29 and $2.49, respectively starting August 16, and are only on Taco Bell menus in Cincinnati, OH.
