A Harry Potter-themed pop-up café has debuted in New York City, and it’s out of this world. Because, you know, it’ll feel like you’re in the wizarding world.
Steamy Hallows opened in NYC’s East Village neighborhood in February and has quickly become a hit among HP fans. “This witchy goth coffee shop serves up delicious coffee and tea potions and homemade cookies in an immersive environment celebrating Halloween,” the description reads.
They went all out with the space; it’s decked with Great Hall-esque floating candles, bubbling cauldrons, broomsticks dangling from the ceiling, and more. And while the aesthetics are all kinds of wonderful, it’s the Hogwarts-inspired menu that I can’t get over. Namely, the Glitter Butterbeer.
Oh, yes. The fan-favorite drink has the same cream soda-meets-butterscotch flavor profile, but is also topped with edible gold glitter. I mean, what more could we want!? Their sea salt caramel latte, the Basic Witch, and Love Potion #9 3/4, which has espresso, mocha syrup, rose water, and a sprinkle of red sugar, are pretty great, too.
And while, sure, it’s great for Instagram content (customers are bringing their own wands, because of course), you’ll keep coming back for the butterbeer.
“Took a trip to @steamyhallows today and it was a magical experience to say the least,” one visitor wrote. “Soooo worth the trip to the East Village!!! I’ll definitely be coming back a few times this week,” another added.

You might wanna grab the Ron to your Harry and go, like, ASAP. Alhough it’s unclear how long the pop-up will remain open, it is a temporary location. You definitely don’t want to miss out on the Glitter Butterbeer.
