When in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, eat as the wizards do. At the theme park, that translates to all the Butterbeer you can get your hands on. And maybe a box or two of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans after that.
This summer, California’s Universal Studios Hollywood Harry Potter park is upping its HP dessert game with Butterbeer Ice Cream. Visitors can head to Three Broomsticks for lunch and ice cream, or stop by one of the carts throughout Hogsmeade to pick up the butterscotch and shortbread-tasting dessert.
While Universal Studios Orlando has Butterbeer Soft Serve, the west coast’s version is hard-packed ice cream, like the kind you’d get in a scoop shop. It joins an already long line of Butterbeer-flavored foods available at the Southern California theme park, including regular, frozen, and hot Butterbeer, Butterbeer Potted Cream, and Butterbeer Fudge.
