The most swiped-right man in the world has finally found “the one,” only it wasn’t through the apps, it was in real life.
Male model Stefan-Pierre Tomlin, 29, was bequeathed the title “Mr. Tinder” when the dating app announced that he had amassed more matches than anyone over the course of two years: 14,600. During his five years of swiping, he averaged 20 matches a day, and went out on a total of 15 first dates. While he dated two woman more seriously, he admits those relationships quickly fizzled out.
He met his current partner, X Factor singer Natasha Boon, 27, through a mutual friend on a night out. The couple swapped numbers that evening, texted all night long, and went on their first official date at the Hampstead Heath (a huge wild park located in North London).

Tomlin told The Mirror, “When I first saw Natasha, she reminded me of Marilyn Monroe. She wore a tight red dress, red lipstick and her blonde hair was styled amazingly. She knocked me off my feet and that rarely happens. I had butterflies in my stomach.”
He continued, “I realized I didn’t need an app to find love, our chemistry was instant.”
The couple met in April, but have already moved in together. If things continue as they have been, Tomlin sees them in it for the long haul.
“We’d like to start making music together and, if things continue to go well in the future, we’d like to get engaged, buy a house and start a family together.”

Initially, Boon was a little turned off by Mr. Tinder’s name and reputation.
“At first, Stef’s nickname was weird for me because I didn’t understand why he would need to use an online dating app — he’s so handsome,” the singer said. Now, however, it seems as if she’s come to terms with his former title. “I do get a little jealous when I think about all the women he’s matched with, but I appreciate that a lot of people fancy him, and I feel privileged to be with him,” she said.
Good luck to the happy couple. Maybe without Stefan off the market, they’ll be more Tinder matches left for the rest of us.
