This Woman Lost 130kgs In 18 Months By Doing These Two Things

Lexi is proof that New Year’s resolutions can have incredible results.

On January 1st 2016, the 26-year-old American and her husband Danny made a decision to lose weight, and she’s now inspiring over 236,000 Instagram followers with her impressive progress.

“I’m not your typical fitness or weight loss account,” she writes in an Instagram caption.

#transformationtuesday -286lbs down naturally with diet & exercise since Iast year. No meal plan, surgery, shakes, or diet pills. I'm not your typical fitness or weight loss account. I don't have a flat stomach, perfect white sparkly teeth, a tone tan body, muscles, claim to be a nutrition expert, perfect selfies, money to flash around, a mansion, a super nice car, and im not selling you anything – but a chance to be your best self. I'm not here to show you what I've done, im here to show you what's possible. This journey is bigger than myself, and I hope that by allowing others to hear my story it will give them the strength to write their own. Losing weight has changed my life, and I know what it's like to be overweight, afraid to start, and to sit on the sidelines of your life. Never compare your journey or life to someone elses, the only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday. “No meal plan, surgery, shakes, or diet pills,” she writes. Just diet and exercise.

#throwbackthursday to 485lbs ago in the same gym. Throwback to the girl who walked into the gym with her head held high. Throwback to the girl who pushed herself to do 30 minutes of cardio on the elliptical five times a week and to be the hardest worker in the room. Throwback to the girl who decided she was fedup, started changing her lifestyle & learning to cook/count calories and fought obesity. Throwback to the girl who had to mentally think about so many daily activities due to her weight it was exhausting. Throwback to the girl who decided to fight for her life, if only she knew how much could change in less than a year 1/2. Love who ive been, and love even more who I'm becoming. We all start somewhere, start today! #goals #motivation #fit #fitfam #obesetobeast #weightloss #weightlossjourney #motivation #fattofit #swolemate #fitcouple #dietbet #diet #selflove #plussize #effyourbeautystandards #fitspo #countingcalories #motivation #fitness #gym #anytimefitness #fitspo #losingweight #weightlosstransformation #transform #gymlife #fitnessmotivation #diet #thickfit #gym #transformationtuesday #dietbet #fatgirlfedupsdietbet #extremeweightloss #anytimefitness

Lexi says she began with 30 minutes of cardio on an elliptical machine, five times a week and she taught herself how to cook and count calories.

Losing weight has changed my life, and I know what it’s like to be overweight, afraid to start, and to sit on the sidelines of your life,” she continues.

“Never compare your journey or life to someone else’s, the only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.”

Inspiring stuff.
