A Sweet and Salty Breakfast You'll Love

Let’s talk oatmeal, because this recipe is about to rock your world. Large-grain salt helps the maple syrup’s sweetness pop. And that’s a good thing…assuming you’re using the good stuff.

A really high-grade, real maple syrup makes a big difference compared to other sweeteners like honey. Maple syrup has more nuance in terms of flavour too and it’s got a ton more antioxidants.

Another trick of the trade? Use steel-cut oats. They’re thicker, heartier, and more filling than old-fashioned.
