The message of one of the Fans saved Tarek El Moussa’s life. The 34-year-old TV presenter of the US Show "Flip or Flop" was contacted after a shipment from a concerned bystander, worried about the swollen lymph nodes.
A second study delivered a shock diagnosis
In the case of an investigation, before the swelling had been classified on the neck as harmless. According to the E-Mail of the lady, a nurse by the name of Ryan Read, decided El Moussa, however, a different doctor for a second opinion. The study ultimately provided the shock of diagnosis: thyroid cancer.
It was in fact a malignant tumour, the cancer had already spread into the lymph nodes. El Moussa had to undergo immediate therapy.
The changed his life
The last three years were a big challenge, said the 34-Year-old recently "People"-Magazine. His life had slowed down, he was feeling tired all the time, but it is uphill to go from year to year.
Together with his wife and Co-presenter of the broadcast "Flip or Flop" the American channel HGTV (Home& Garden Television) he lives in California, the two got in August a together son.
